Undoubtedly our physical space contributes to our spiritual space which helps us formulate an identity and an understanding about who we are, what we believe and what we would like to achieve in our life time.

Over time and with experience theses spaces evolve but they still remain the source of our curiosity, creativity and inspiration.

Poetic spaces; the spoken words project captures the thoughts, opinions and feelings of young teenagers living in the east Lancashire town of Accrington. It represents their ideals, hopes, aspirations and dreams. It presents their poetic space.

“They call me midget ‘cos I’m small. I’m like a cute monkey full of energy”.

“I have a dream where ridicule and conflict are no more than dictionary definitions”.

“I am the queen of football”.
