A group of young Muslim teenagers embarked on a humble adventure, which led them to win a global film competition.

Driven by their desire to promote their religion in a positive light a group of teenagers decided to embrace the power of film to show how the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) inspires them in their daily life.

The inspiring film went onto to win the Tony Blair Faith Foundation Global Faith Film Shorts competition. Beating entries from all over world including Canada, India, Brazil and Australia.

The film also received an official premiere at the British Academy of Film and Television Art (BAFTA) where pupils received their award from ex-prime minister Tony Blair and Comedienne Dawn French. A live video link from boxer Aamir Khan was also aired at the event congratulating the school on its success.

An all-star judging panel:

Hollywood actors Hugh Jackman and Jet Li; Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor; former President of FOX Studios Sherry Lansing; Oscar-winning producers Lord Puttnam and Nik Powell; Wendi Deng Murdoch, and more.
